Casey Linehan is a Senior Customer Success Manager at HubSpot, working with Enterprise companies to guide their growth through Inbound Marketing and Sales strategy and operations consulting. At HubSpot, Casey most enjoys working on finding new ways to automate customers’ operations, helping those customers align their sales and marketing departments and processes with smarketing goals (see here for more on smarketing), and teaching new hire trainings to bring new members of HubSpot’s Services Team up to speed. In his first six weeks at HubSpot, Casey built out a full marketing plan and website as part of his new hire project and was peer voted the Services New Hire MVP.
Prior to working at HubSpot, he worked on Oracle's Customer Experience sales team, where he attended a six-week sales training program after which he received the Top Scholar award for his thirty person training group. He graduated from the Honors Program at Boston College’s School of Arts and Sciences with a B.A. in Psychology in 2014.
Since a young age, Casey has had a passion for studying and developing strong leadership skills and traits. This interest has brought him to multiple leadership schools, including a month long course in the Canadian wilderness with the National Outdoor Leadership School. He has led seminars on recruitment, philanthropy, and Health and Safety (Risk Management). During his time as president of his fraternity (Sigma Alpha Epsilon), he led the Chapter to numerous awards and recognitions, including their first and only Perfect Score on their Annual National Evaluation and the top national award for Health and Safety. His time in the fraternity culminated with him winning the Order of the Phoenix for, "outstanding leadership, dedication, and exemplary service to the Fraternity."
Casey’s love of learning has led him to try as many new and exciting hobbies as possible. He spent a year volunteering with his collegiate emergency medical services group riding along in ambulances during night shifts, which he considers one of his more uniquely interesting collegiate experiences. His passion for the unknown even led him to time on the collegiate rowing team and to try out for a step dance and an urban dance group, though his budding dance career evidently peaked during his fifth grade ballroom dance class, as he did not end up on either team. The primary manifestation of this love, however, was his three years of leadership within the International Assistant Program at Boston College. The program introduced him to an incredible array of cultural perspectives as he worked with the international students at Boston College to help them acclimate to life in the United States and on campus.
Originally from San Francisco, Casey is an avid outdoorsman. He participated in an Environmental Education Summer Program in Point Reyes National Seashore as a child and eventually became a counselor, helping to teach and mentor young children and teenagers. His hobbies include teaching his friends about rock climbing and the wilderness, cooking, running, backpacking, and pampering his two dogs.
